MySOS App
MySOS is a an emergency application (app) that is installed on a smart phone that offers clients access to appropriate emergency assistance when:

  • you don’t know who to call;
  • you don’t know where you are;
  • you want to notify your emergency contacts about your emergency and the exact location;
  • you want your emergency contacts and the emergency services to navigate directly to your location in an emergency;

Panic button linked to the phone that you can carry on you – available upon request.

*MySOS requires a smart phone to function but is not compulsory if a member would not like to use it.

Emergency Medical Response
Emergency Medical Response, Stabilisation & Medical Transportation: ER24’s Contact Centre will immediately dispatch an appropriate road or air ambulance which is staffed by our appropriately qualified emergency medical care practitioners. Once at the scene of the incident, lifesaving support will be provided to the patient and where relevant, the patient will be stabilised before transfer is provided to the closest most appropriate medical facility/as per client customised requirements.
Emergency Medical Information
Lifesaving medical advice can be accessed by calling 084 124 where a medically trained professional will be able to guide you through a medical crisis.
Medical Hotline
ER24 medical personnel, including paramedics, nurses and doctors, will be available 24 hours a day to provide general medical assistance. This is an advisory and information service, as a telephonic conversation does not permit an accurate diagnosis.
Trauma Counselling
ER24’s Trauma Support Team will provide support and trauma counselling to your employees, contractors & visitors. Telephonic counselling services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Emergency line.
Casualty Voucher
A Voucher will be paid to the subscriber on a refund basis up to the value of the benefit per plan in the event of a life threatening emergency.
Basic Wellness Voucher
Covers consultations to a general practitioner, dentist, optometrist and physiotherapist up to the value of R375 per consultation. Vouchers cover consultations only and not treatment. The voucher will be payable to the MediWallet card only for redemption at at approved MediWallet service provider.
Advanced Wellness Voucher
Covers consultations to a specialist as defined on a referral basis by GP only. Requires a pre authorisation.

  • Dentistry Voucher
    Voucher towards expenses other than a consultation at a dentist.
  • Optometry
    Voucher towards expenses other than consultation at an optometrist.
Medication Voucher
A voucher is issued provided a script exists towards expenses for medication. Script needs to be provided via the MySOS App (“Submit a Claim”) or emailed to claims@4me.co.za
MediWallet
MediWallet (www.mediwallet.co.za) is a spend-as-you-go medical credit account which allows you to pay for your medical expenses over 18 months (if you elect to use the credit finance option *). You can use your MediWallet account at a variety of healthcare practitioners including Clicks, Spec-Savers, Intercare as well as a range of independent doctors, dentists, vets and more.

*MediWallet Credit Finance is an optional extra should members wish to apply.
